Geek.Kon 2010 LAN Sep. 3rd-5th, Madison, WI

Hey everyone! In case you have not heard, Geek.Kon is having a LAN again this year. The LAN will run from Friday to Sunday (TWO AND SOME CHANGE DAY LAN!!!) September 3rd through the 5th. Pre-registration for the convention is up. You do need to purchase a convention pass in order to attend the LAN We only offer a full weekend pass for pre-registration which is $25 for the weekend. At the door prices are $30 for the weekend, $15 for Friday, $20 for Saturday, and $15 for Sunday. There are a lot of other things to do at the convention as well since it is a geek-fest, so don't feel like you need to be tied down to just the LAN.

Here is some info for the LAN. With the help of MidWestLAN borrowing us equipment, we are going to have room for a 100 person LAN (all depends who actually shows up). We will have tournaments throughout the weekend such as Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare , Counter-Strike:Source, some sort of Left 4 Dead, and Team Fortress 2. I would like to have some other tournaments run as well and need suggestions on them. There will be prizes to give away to the tournament winners. Through the help of sponsors, we should also have door prizes to give away as well (prizes will only be given to those participating in the LAN).

Some other games I would like to see played over the weekend:
~Battlefield 2 or 2142 (I prefer the latter)
~Unreal Tournament
~Starcraft 2 (pending multiplayer abilities)
~Warcraft 3 (DotA anyone)

Suggestions on other popular games people would like to see played are welcome.
