Bringing stuff to MWL12 for sale

Hey everyone. Is there any interest in "Zap's computer parts swapmeet" at the LAN this weekend? I can bring some cheap stuffs such as CPUs (775, 1366), CPU coolers, good quality power supplies up to 1200W and maybe some video cards too.

Pricing will be pretty good - how about $70 for an Enhance 1200W power supply?

Anyways, if there is interest, I can bring some stuff.

Yes, I have better video cards. What are you interested in? 9800 GT? 9800 GTX+? GTS 250? GTX 260? GTX 285? GTX 295? What kind of budget do you have?

CPU/mobo with PCIe and DDR support? That would be... socket 939 stuff. Don't think I have any handy. Well, I do, but I just sold some of my socket 939 motherboards on eBay. I got over $100 for an Asus socket 939 SLI board - those people are smokin' some crack or something because I wouldn't waste that much money on such old stuff. Of course now I have single core socket 939 CPUs w/o a home, but whatever. I might have more stuff laying around, but won't have time to go digging in storage before the LAN.

I would suggest that you sell off your DDR RAM so that you can go with a newer platform. If it is higher density sticks (like 1GB or 2GB per stick) then you can probably make a decent amount off it.

If you're interested in newer stuff, I've probably got some laying around. How about a Core 2 Duo setup with mobo/CPU/RAM? I've got boards ranging from micro ATX (like my LAN party rigs that I've been bringing to MWL/NoG) all the way to triple SLI boards.

Well, this is for my 2nd comp, I don't need it for much, basicly older RTS games for friends, and for storage. I'm looking for cheap for a old 939 proc, I already got a mobo for it, remember, I got a deaded FX-55. I would like to actually get a new proc for that thing, like all cheap like. Along with a video card better then 8800gts for my main comp, and I'll ptu the GTS back in my old comp. Honestly, looking to spend less then $200 for the stuff...I'd go a little bit north of that, but I'd like to stick around $200.

I have some cheap socket 939 CPUs for ya. I'll see if I can find any really quick. If not, I'll have to dig some out of storage at a later time, but we can probably meet half way or something. Heck, maybe meet at a Portillo's, LOL.

Is your power supply good enough to run a better video card? GTX 260 and up requires two PCIe power plugs.

$200? I can hook you up with a socket 939 CPU, GTX 260 and a decent power supply for less than that. We can get into details through PM or phone.

I have a 260 and if you can get me a 275-285 for $100(thats all i have right now) then i will ****ing love you forever.

I have a 260 but i have a X-fire board so ill give my brother the 260 and put the 275-285 into my pc.

Hmmm, don't think I have any 275 but do have 285. Those are mostly going for around $200-250 on eBay (with an odd one just under $200) with the same price range in large tech forums. I can do $160 for a used one, which is less than the going price anywhere. I also have a brand new one (never used, sealed anti-static bag in retail box). that I can do for $190. I also have 2GB versions if your budget allows.

but to business what do you have for memory and video cards.

I would love another 2 gigs of ddr2 memory.

And something better than a 880gts 512 would be nice.

I have GTX 285 and GTX 295.

I also have a monstrosity... have to get it from storage if anyone is interested, but it is a pair of GTX 280 attached to water blocks with hoses attached... to a drive bay cooling unit. It takes two 5¼" drive bays and is pretty noisy, but cools better than stock.

I'll bring some misc video cards plus some RAM.
