Posted By: Alex_StrikerHello all MWL-ers.
I regret to inform you that MWL 9.5 has been canceled due to a scheduling conflict at the Darien Community/Senior Center. This is an issue entirely on our end in getting the venue reserved, and we definitely won't have this happen again.
The all of one people who had prepaid will be refunded.
We were going to announce MWL10's date at MWL 9.5, but since that 9.5 is no longer happening....

Posted By: Alex_StrikerOur longtime sponsor, SteelSeries, has announced a charity auction they are holding via E-bay in support of the victims of the recent earthquake in China.
SteelSeries, the leading manufacturer of innovative professional gaming gear, today announced a massive auction on eBay.com (U.S.) and wuji.org. The auction will support disaster relief in China and all proceeds will be donated to the Red Cross Society of China (RCSC) for the survivors and families affected by the recent earthquake. Through its professional gamer following and industry-leading products, SteelSeries is creating one of the largest charity collections with professional gamers ever, with dozens of gaming products, each autographed by some of the world's top PC gaming teams such as MeetYourMakers, SK Gaming, Made in Brazil, Gravitas Gaming, TEK9, level99, Excello and mousesports.
| Posted By: Alex_StrikerAs promised, we'll be holding a summer event! It will be shorter then our standard 24 hour events, and the overall format will be a little different too since we'll be trying out a few different tournament types and games then we normally would. There is a chance the date may change, as we still have to confirm with the Senior/Community Center. More info will be available in the next few weeks, though we are taking game requests. |
